FORUM ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND THE ROLE OF SMEs ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT |
Young people of Republic of Kosovo should be supported by building entrepreneurial skills in order to foster the initiatives for establishing small and medium enterprises
 Prishtina, 17th of November, 2009, Business Support Centre in Kosovo (BSCK) has organized the forum “Entrepreneurship and the Role of SMEs on Economic Development” at Gagi Caffe, Prishtina. The goal of this forum was to present existing information and discuss on the challenges, problems, and the importance of entrepreneurship, especially SMEs, in Kosovo. This forum involved entrepreneurship lecturers and trainers, representatives of organizations and businesses which help on development of new ventures in Kosovo, experienced entrepreneurs, new entrepreneurs, and other young people who look forward to become entrepreneurs in near future.

School of Entrepreneurship in Prishtina and Peja |
 Business Support Centre Kosovo (BSCK) supported by Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other partners including: SPARK (previously known as ATA), Municipality of Prishtina, Municipality of Peja, University of Prishtina, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport, SME Support Agency of Kosova, NLB Bank, Kosova Chamber of Commerce, and University “Iliria”. School of Entrepreneurship is organized in two locations: 1. Prishtina and 2. Peja. Participants will gain the required knowledge on how to establish and develop their own business through the modules of School of Entrepreneursip.

Entrepreneurial skills trainings in Prizren and Drenas |
 Business Support Centre Kosovo (BSCK), Youth Center in Prizren and Youth Center in Drenas, supported by USAID / Kosovo Private Enterprise Program, organizes entrepreneurial skills training in two locations: 1. Prizren and 2. Drenas. Participants will gain the required knowledge on how to establish and develop their own business through entrepreneurial skills training modules. USAID / KPEP covers the expenses for ten weeks trainings. |
