Business Skills training in Gracanica |

Dear participants, as of 9th of November 2009, Business Skills training in Gracanica available for you. Following groups are welcomed to apply and participate: Persons between age 18 and 45, highly motivated to gain new and expand existing knowledge and skills, business owners, as well as youth interested to start their own business. Training will last for six intensive weeks during November/December. Deadline for application is 30th of October 2009. During this training, you will be able to gain knowledge and skills necessary for running your own company. After you have successfully completed business skills training you are eligible to apply for business plan support package offered by BSC Kosovo (microcredit up to 10.000 euro, free registration, up to 100 hours of free consultancy, etc.). |

BSCK AWARDING CEREMONY |
|
 The Business Start-Up Centre Kosovo in an auspicious event delivered the certificates for participants of BSCK trainings for 2009 and announced the best business plans from these trainings. The awarding ceremony was held on 10th of July 2009 at Grand Hotel Prishtina. 98 participants from five training locations received certificates and 12 of them were awarded with best business plans.
This year, Business Support Centre Kosovo opened its School of Entrepreneurship in Prishtina, which was attended by 25 participants. Trainings were also organized in Peja, namely Business Skills Trainings, and Entrepreneurial Skills Trainings for minorities in Osojane, Strpce and Gora.

POLAND STUDY TOUR OF BUSINESS INCUBATORS AND SME DEVELOPMENT |

 The Business Start-Up Centre Kosovo is in the midst of incorporating as a Foundation and planning for the development of a business incubator organized an Incubator Study Tour in Poland from 24th – 30th of May 2009. The participants who attended the study tour are important stakeholders and future board members and key personnel of the new organization. They included partners from Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, SME Agency/Ministry of Trade and Industry, Municipality of Prishtina, and Kosova Chamber of Commerce.
A key purpose of this study tour was to expose the participants to incubators utilizing different models of business incubation and in different settings, ranging from a University-based High-Tech Incubator in a large City to a mixed-use Incubator in a small city in rural Poland and a virtual incubator focused on youth.

INTRODUCTORY ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS SUCCESSFULLY FINISHED |

 Introductory Entrepreneurail Skills and Business Plan Writing trainings hve been successfully finished. All participants have demonstrated great interest and motivation during entire program and shall receive certificate on Friday 10th in Grand hotel in Pristina.
